well, since this is the impulse forum, i guess you've gotta expect people here to be slightly baised. Despite this-i would still say go impulse! The impulse has a simple design, operates at really low pressure (easier on paint) shoots really fast, is very accurate, can be run great on co2, comes with one of the best and most consistant regulators around.... the list could go on. Don't get me wrong, mags and cockers are both good guns, but the impulse provides great performance while at the same time being relatively easy to maintain ( at least easier than an autococker). I will say that one of my best friends had a automag, and he liked it- but then he sold it to get an impulse! But, what it really comes down to is what you want. Learn a little about all the guns, consider what you are looking for, test them if you can, and pick the one you like most. All those guns you mentioned are great, the hardest part is picking one.

all right.

I plan to get this after about 4 months, but want to know what to save.

I am currently mostly a rec player; but, i may be joining a rookee team soon.

i am hoping to spend under 550 american (a fortune n Canadian lol)

i dont really play a position i kind of stay around the middle or the field and pick peopl off when they push ahead. or i bunker people sometimes.
any info would be appreciated, thanking you in advance, Green_kat

In that case I would get a stock 2k2 vert or side feed cocker with a 12v revvy and co2 or pmi/crossfire HPA. With the rest of your money, depending on how much you have I would get a hinge (if you want speed), freak (for accuracy), or something else. Just go to the cocker forrum or send me a pm. Hope this helped a little.
