Well I just received my Tippmann 98 Custom on Monday. Well I was JW I am getting a couple markers in the enxt couple years then I should be done with buying markers and just mod those to there full potential.

I was JW should I use my Tippmann 98 Custom as a backup marker and buy an A-5 and mod it up or mod up my 98. Also I already know I am getting a BT something so I ahvent decided on that. Though is there another marker I should buy instead of an A-5. That would work better for me? O yea I play woodsball.

Woodsball or not, a Smart Parts Ion is a much better deal than an A5 right now. Get your C02 tanks anti-siphoned for all your markers, or get compressed air if you can. Right now to me upping a blow-back Tippmann just doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Their resale value is decreasing everyday and you could be much better off with an electro-pneumatic gun such as an Ion.

That's just my opinion. If you're set on upping a Tippmann, decide which of the A5 and 98 you like better, and up your favorite. There's really not much difference between the two, so just play with each to find out which has the better feel for you.

If you got the money go for the sp8.

Well I heard about the SP-8 but others said they need alot of matience and break easy. So I should get an Ion. Though I dont really like electric markers because I play alot in the rain and stuff so I really dont want an electric marker. Is there anything else?

Well the same for Akrikon they said that they need alot of Matinence and they brake easy though I heard there customer service was awesome.

An Sp8 is pretty much an Ion for the record so it shouldn't have many problems.

Does it have to look like a military gun?

Just get an ion.

If it can't be electronic, get a Spyder or a Piranha.
