I planned for a while on upgrading my Spyder. You know, throw a few hundred into it, make it LP, make it crazy. Give people that "Oh, thats a really good Spyder" kind of thing.
Then I saw the Alias Timmy. For less then $700.
I know it's preference, but I would never buy another gun if I got the Timmy. And if I up my Spyder, then it would cost about the same. From what I understand a LP Spyder with upgrades can be as good as any but..
And I've not been playing for very long, so I don't want to be the noob with the Timmy. But its not like my parents are buying it.
Its hard to choose, and I hope this isn't classified as a Vs thread, because I just want to see what you all thought. I have the money, or will eventually, and I can always give my Spyder to my little sister, because she plays too

Don't give the spyder to your little sister. Sell it to her.:D
You can either make your spyder into a spimmy and that only costs about $400 or so while the alias is $700. Or you can get the alias and never buy another gun again.
What I would do is buy the alias, then trade later on if you wanted a different gun. You might want to try and shoot one before you buy, some people don't like the feel of them.

keep your spyder :dodgy:
jk, buy the alias right now. Why are you still reading this? You should be buying your timmy.

I still want to get into the sport a little more. Like, I was thinking to play a few more months. I don't feel like making a Spimmy really, just because I don't know enough about EP to make a stab at it either. I've held one before, and thats why I looked into it.
Hopefully I can get one by January
I only have like $600 now, but by the end of August I'll have close to a thousand.
