View Full Version : Freak Jr Barrel, Is it WORTH it?

Well Im looking to buy a new barrel and the Freak Jr barrel caught my eye and i heard some things about it but not enough.. I have $70 right now to buy a new barrel and I dont know if the Freak Jr is the best choice and if theres a better barrel out there for the same price? ALL YOUR INFO WILL BE NEEDED :tup:


EDIT: I saw a Full Pipe Kit for $80, it has all 5 backs and a 14 inch tip.. Would that be a better buy?

EDIT: I Just ordered the Evil Pipe Kit online, I should have it in a couple of days,.. I cant wait either becasue i got a game this weekend and i wana light peeps up :P

imo the jr freak is more worth it than the whole freak kit, cuz are you really gonna use ALL those inserts?
i dont know anything about evil pipe kits though

shadow, not saying i dont believe you but freak has slightly higher average rating, which is weird when you say pipe>freak , i bet the pipe kit is good though, and since smart barts barrels arent exactly self cleaning....
im not supporting either here

The new Freak's inserts are breaking. That is why Pipe>Freak.

really? that kinda sucks, how so? bending? o well thats why i got the stainless steel .689 insert :D it actually feels stronger/ more durable than the regular .693 insert i have

They snap because they were making the inserts too brittle.

The SS inserts do fix that though (but cost more and wouldn't be included in the freak jr.). Still don't self clean at all though.

I agree, freaks suck at self cleaning.
