Here's my problem:

I recently bought my phantom and I like it, but I'm having some issues. When I first used it, it shot nicely, though I thought it was a tad bit inconsistent, then as time went on the consistency just got worse. Right now I'm having velocity jumps from anywhere between 10 and 25 fps, and sometimes worse. As it is its not shooting any better than the tippmann I've used (stock with 14" barrel).

I've already replaced the tank o-ring a couple times so its not that. Im not very familiar with the phantom yet and I was hoping people could give me some suggestions.

Phantoms need to be broken in. Once you've shot a case of paint or so through it, then see what it's like. I bought mine used, so I haven't experienced it myself, but that's what all the other phantom owners say. I run mine with a vertical WGP regulator and get +/- 3fps consistently. Also, you might be having spikes from liquid CO2. I've never had a big problem with it, but you could get an anti-siphon tank if you wanted to (I did). Also, make sure everything is clean and lubed if you haven't already.

or sounds more like your TPC is fryed. Turning it too much is a common when a person can't get it dialed in... i junked my first TPC doing the same. Will cost 9 bucks to replace.
