Ok i was reading and i saw that people were cutting there bolts in bkos and i was wondering if this can be done with a b2k4. Im guessing it can be because the b2k4 bolt is the same as the bko. also if you do cut the bolt what will happen will it inprove the gun or is it just for looks, also what inproves on the kick of the gun.

yes you can cut the bolt. just dont cut any further forward than the bearing set screw. you'll be able to see it. its mostly for looks. it does slightly reduce the reciprocating mass, but the difference in kick would probably not be noticeable because it is such a small reduction.
several things can reduce kick. one is reducing the operating pressure of the gun, which can be done by adding an aftermarket valve (a new inline is also a good idea when this is purchased), adding a lighter valve spring, and polishing and porting your ram. the second is reducing the amount of mass that is cycling. this is done by having your hammer lightened, or purchasing a lightened hammer. I have done this, and the difference is quite noticeable. you can also have your ramshaft/rear piston replaced with a delrin one.
