So You really want to get performance out of your marker. Ill tell you how. This can be used to pick out a marker as well. *Note* This will not work as a flotation device.
Marker color (OH YES IT DOES MATTER)
Ugly markers (or black) will make you more strategict.
Red Markers make you run faster.
Blue Markers make you more accurate. Green paintball markers give you endurance.
Silver/ Crome/ Niclkle/ Titanium markers shoot faster.
Yellow markers make you less afraid of getting hit.
Purple/ pink markers keep you from getting bunkered.
Barrel Color (you didnt see this one coming)
Fades make your marker quieter, can shoot through ball breaks, and achieve higher rofs.
If the inside of your barrel is different color than the outside your more acurate. For example take the tippman flatline everyone thinks its accurate because of the bend in the barrel nope its because its two toned (thats how they stay ahead of the competition)
crazy colored barrels~ achieves the WTF man award, but thats it.
Barrel to marker match. People think you achieve the greatest accuracy with a good paint to barrel match but really its if it matches the color of the inside of your marker (only where the barrel screws in).
Other tips.
A blue transparent hopper feeds faster than any other color.
A hopper will feed 6-10 bps faster if you put DYE stickers on it (same goes for the marker)
Putting a sticker on your co2 tank will make it nitrogen (doing this on a nitro tank will make it get off more shots.).
Drawing a smiley face on your goggles will keep them from fogging up.
And finally by Duck taping your barrel it makes it more accurate
Thanks for reading this. In no way is any of this true. If you beleived me you should quit paintball. If you feel like adding to it goo ahead.
