If you check out the link below, it shows the schematics of the Pro Carbine. I'm trying to unscrew the "reduction fitting" that is connected to the "gas line" so I can remove my power tube, valve and bolt. I've tried several different pliers with no luck. I'm worried that I will end up stripping the threads if I apply too much pressure with the pliers. Does anyone have any idea how to get this thing out of there without damaging the fitting? If you owned or have owned a Pro Carbine and disassembled it before please let me know what I'm doing wrong. Thanks in advance.

Are you the First owner of it? If not, its likely that the previous owner put WAY too much Loctite/Teflon Tape on it just so it would never come out. I dont know about ProCarbines, but that seems likely. Nothing seems to be blocking it...

No I'm not the 1st owner...my friend sold it to me for $20 cause he didnt feel like fixing the leak. If loctite/teflon tape is the case, is there anything available to loosen it up so it will come off? I don't really feel like taking it to the proshop but I might have no choice. Thanks for the reply.

Im not your Expert here. Do you have a tippmannowners.com account? If so, ittl probably take them longer to answer, but theyll probably get it done for you... THere real smart.

Why can't I find Tippmann pro carbines anywhere in stores anymore.
Because they are old and discontinued.
