i need to take them on vacation with me i know i have to disassemble the tank neck so that it is not pressurized but my real question is can i carry this stuff on? i dont really want it to be put in my suitcase because the airline company wont cover it if it is lost/stolen/damaged and i know some kid checking your bag in the back would love to yank a fancy lookin paintball gun...any suggestions?

Call the airline ahead of time and see what their policies are. But shipping it to your destination ahead of time solves all airline problems.

well for a 4 day stay, it may be better to leave it home. unless you are playing in a tourney and have to have it. the only thing to do if you must take it is call and check which airlines allow you to take them on.

You MUST put all pb gear in your check-in bag. One time, back in the day, my VL triton II gun body was in my backpack (somehow) and i almost got arrested for it (code orange at the time lol). Call ahead, and check that stuff in.

another question i have is how do pro teams get their gear around when they fly...obviously it is a little easier for them but i'm j/w
called a couple of airline and i seem to get the same thing from all of them
most frequently ask question is well why do you need to fly with that

Same way everyone else does. Reg off the tank, just throw it all in the suitcase.

There was a thread on this, just a couple days ago. Look a few posts below this one.

I would also recommend you flying your gun and stuff through fedex or something. That way, you dont have to deal with the airline and just check up on fedex's policy on that stuff.Takes away the headaches.
