I just bought a JT Excellerator 4.0 and played with it for the first time today. It worked fine before the game and during the first game. Then, something weird happened. It started shooting about 3 times all at once(like full-auto) and then uncocked. Of course, it broke balls bad when it did that, but that wasn't my main concern. It is kind of acting like the CO2 was running out, but the CO2 tank was full. What is going on? I can't figure it out. I took it apart to make sure there were no broken o-rings and there weren't any. My guess is that there is some kind of air blockage, which would make it rapid fire each time I pull the trigger and uncock itself. Anyway, any suggestions or input would me much appreciated. Thanks

i just got the jt 4 also, and today was the first time i fired it also... it's my first marker and i'm a beginer, but maybe you need to oil it and specifically the bolt section?

clean and oil?

only oil the o-rings, do not oil in the air supply adapter.

check out what AJPAINT posted on another topic about air leaks with the jt4

same exact thing happend to me
have u ever unscrewed the volumizer?
if u have thats the prob
when u unscrew it the valve pin gets unseated out of the valve body

to fix:
1. remove bolt and striker assembly
2. cut a piece of a coat hanger about 10 in. long
3. look down in the lower gun body tube(flashlight helps)
4. you should be able to see the hole in the valve body
5. if the pin is not clearly all the way through, use the coat
hanger wire to push on the pin and turn the wire as you do.
the pin is spring loaded and by pushing back and forth while
turning you should be able to reseat the pin.

OK....I took out the bolt, etc. The pin was all the way in place and through the valve hole. So, I still don't know what is wrong with it. The JT is not easy to field strip, I had to take the handle off in order to replace the bolt. Anyway, I really don't understand why I needed to take the bolt out in order to look at the valve. You can take the volumizer off and the spring and have easy access to the pin. Am I missing something? Thanks for the help.

This happend to my friend... the problem is the adapter you screw the tank in to is messed... I tried a diagram but it was too big.. but the thing that pushes on the tanks valve is too short. My friend took his gun to a shop... thats what they said.

ahhh you dont have to take the trigger frme off to get the bolt back in. you just have to pull the trigger when it feels like it wont go in anymore. you have to do that twice.
