More mods

Seems to me we need more mods around here. Im not sayin the mods weve got arent great but it seems there not on as much and people are getting away with a whole lot of stuff they shouldnt be. I mean theres friggin *** porn on a thread. Where have all the mods gone...?

I wouldnt mind being a mod, i mean, whenever i go online, im on this site. I have noticed that lot of the forums have been getting cluttered up. If u want, i could help out in the blow back forum and the off topic as a mod, i mean, tlplus84 is good, no doubt, but if u want one more, i wouldnt mind helping out.

Andrew already has more than enough mods, Incube, and if he needed another mod, there are other, more qualified people out there such as Hsuve and Nemessis.

I think we could use another one for the new paintballers forum. Someone like Muck. The old guy teaching the new. IT just fits. Not that El Twitcho does a bad job, I think he does a great job. I just think some of the posts could use another point of view. Also they don't always get anwsered, and that's not good , since that is were new people want info.

I know Andrew isn't looking for more Forum Mods right now, but I think it would behove the site to add some "editors" to cull through the growing number of reviews that are being submitted. I just looked through some reviews posted for a Brass Eagle product and found about 90 percent of them to be inappropriate (it was obvious there were a bunch of people who were just wanting to bash the product, people who'd never owned it or ever played with it.) I don't know how many folks are involved with going through the reviews, but maybe its time to add some more.

i spend some time weeding out bad reviews that go after the company and the gun and tell people not to buy the product becuse thet say so. i noticed like 96% of the b.e reviews are 100% agaiest the company

As said though if there were maybe a couple more mods.. incube,nemesis,spacer even myself. Were not candidates, itd be people like a damn fool or Muckracker. If your like alot of people who just want the position for respect.. you dont have to be a mod to be respected

thanks for the compliment, ur right though, if people just want the mod postion for the glamer, then whats the point? We need people who are always on the site, and who will do a good job.

Oh yeah,. if the mod jonbs were based on being old, muck, u would definetly win, lol.

And since tlplus84 has been back, the forums have cleared back upo a lot, so it hasnt been as big a problem lately ne wasy.

it's not just the BE products that get slammed, there are some really dufus type people who just blasts whatever happens to be the "product of the day." I think you could scroll through any reviews of any product and find that someone has posted something like:

What's good: Nothing
What's bad: This marker blows.
Conclusion: super duper don't play fiddle with me.

Literally, i've found reviews like this. and it's stupid crap like this that takes away from the legitimacy of the good reviews. Everyone has their own opinion, but reviews that say nothing have to go, and it's hard to monitor all the reviews. I think maybe a couple of "Review Mods" would be a good thing to help weed out all the crude.

some off the tippman producks and some winchester products get slamed alot too and i dont see much of the popular guns get slamed that much like kingmans and pmis and 32 deggres

Andrew, I didn't mean to Rile you up with my posts, I just wanted to point out that there are a lot of reviews, and I didn't know how many folks were responsible for culling through all of that ... It just seems to be a daunting task for one or two people to do. No offense intended.
