My field runs at a velocity of only 230fps. Is it possible to get a promaster that low without effecting the operation?
And before anyone asks, yes that is too slow. 250fps would be a lot better.

yeah you can, efficiency might suffer though, and consistency would probably not be quite as good either. just turn down the inline to maybe 215psi or so, set LPR, and then make adjustments to get the proper fps.

Which way should I turn the LPR? And how will I know when its set right?
Thanks again for answering my stupid questions.

Lefty loosey right tighty I'm pretty sure. But what kind of field runs velocity at 230 fps?? The fields are probably 20 yards in length.

turning the LPR in (righty) turns it up. turning it out (lefty) turns the LPR pressure down.

set the HPR to desired pressure, then back the LPR adjustment screw out until the gun wont cock. slowly screw the LPR adjustment screw in until the gun is fully cocked, then go 1/4 turn more. use HPR to make large velocity adjustments. the LPR may be used for very small velocity adjustments only.

best way to set the lpr is to turn it out all teh way and then slowly turn it in until the bolt fully cocks and turn it just a hair

ive3 run my promaster stock at 190, and its done really well, and the efficiency didnt seem to suffer too much
