New Ultimate Airball field in Richmond VA

It is located in Powhatan. Howver you should listen to this. Paintball authority has the worst refs, the worst prices, the worst paint, and the worst management. Believe me you want to go to bcbg across from kings dominion. I know the owner of bcbg and he is very nice. Bcbg has great prices, great refs, and great everything else. PAintball Authority SUCKS!!!

Try it for yourself. PBA is the same price, longer play day, lighted night games this season. It also has 2 woods fields, a spool field, a town field, a barrel field, a Hyper-ball field AND Ultimate air.

BCBG has a very thicke and small woods field. 1 speed-ball field and a very old Sup air-field(has tubes between bunkers). And is never set up.

PBA also has coverd staging areas right next to the fields.

At BCBG you get to stage from your car in direct sunlight.

At PBA you can play against players of your own caliber.

At BCBG you can play thier team over and over even if you are a newbie.(fun if you like to get lit up and play with wipers)

If you think BCBG sounds better, I think you should try it. I played there and got bored playing the same field over and over and over and over.

Ok kikitup a.k.a newbie! Paintball authority may have ummm lemme see here 7 fields or whatever but when I went there we only got to play the town/speedball field and the hyperball field. Also, they charge 20 bucks for juss 500 rounds of team colors which has dents all over it and most likely a freeking broken ball or two. Oh and about the games... There was only one ref who would just let all his friends with souped up cockers and crap wipe paint off the whole time right and front of him. Also, they were making us play like 15 on 15 on one field....... it was crazy!! Oh and mr. newbie I know bcbg's team and mike the owner and they play very fair and I have never ever seen anyone get away with wiping paint there. Also, they only charge 15 bucks for team colors and blaze plus it is in perfect condition unlike pb authority's paint. And who really gives a crap about all the other stuff you said about covered staging area and parking your car in the sunlight? I mean really that's juss sad if you are going to sit here and complain about that. Oh and I have one more thing to say about the fields they have. The woods field is one of the best fields for true stratagies around here and there is never a dull moment on the speedball field. Well have fun at pb authority a.k.a cheater and rip offs layer!

Hmm, I'm actually in Chesterfield so it's quite a drive for me. A co worker of mine said that his friend's brother owns a PB field north of richmond (might be BCBG) and they play there all the time for free. It might be worth a trip up there to see.

i live in mechanicsville and paintball around here stinks! I have to play rec ball cuz admission to bcbg is $15!!! I know it's high because of B.Y.O.P but still, I don't even have a budget to upgrade my gun. I'm stuck with my poor old reliable Tippmann. She' coughing on me and I might have to put her to sleep. Sometimes it's like she has rabies.

i live in richmond but i always go wish i had went when airball was up i went last weekend but there wasnt any airball i saw the place where they had marked it off to make it..and ive never gotten any bad paint from pba everytime you go to the store they open it and check it and its also has a date and they have alot more brands of paint other than team colors(i use team colors and dont have no probs with it) ive never had any probs with the refs and most of the people that work/play there are really nice

One of the guys that runs the PBA shop just really pisses me off. When I went in there last (a few months ago) he was bragging non stop about him being one of the lucky few people to get the HALO like a few weeks before it came out. Now bragging a bit is fine, but when you talk about that for more than 20 min and start getting hostile, then theres a problem. He was also putting down tons of ppl and made fun of me cause I wanted a TL+ as a first gun. I was like, hey bud, even if I had the $1500, I still wouldnt buy that nice shiny angel as my first freakin gun.

My friend and I went in there to buy new guns, we left with a headache and a strong hatred for that store.

Bob NO ONE uses a halo that works for the store.
I believe 3 were sold to customers and one is still there.
The store got them a couple of days after people already had them throughout the country

Well then the guy had to have been lying then.. He sure was annoying tho.

Besides, I like Splatbrothers so much better. Better prices, more courteous people, and its a LOT closer than PBA to my house.


Heck, if the guys son is the only one working in the store, he gives me and my friends AWESOME deals. He sold my freind a Black Dragun Compact the other day for $80.. That's below internet price.

Also, I've spent tons of time in there just having them help me tweak my gun for optimal performance. They let me use the chrono, tools and stuff to adjust my reg, and let me try out virtually any part in the store before I buy it to see if its worth it or not. They even give me free balls to test out the stuff with.

I love splatbrothers.. PBA Sucks.

BTW PBA has expanded it's store. and they have a $2.00 raffle each month for a gun giveaway. Last month a Spyder compact and this month a Tippmann 98

If you like Splatbrothers better thats great. The whole point of paintball is to have fun. If you have more fun there, thats a good thing. Everybody can't get along. So it's good that there is more then 1 store or field in the area.

SplatZone,same prices but with the Field fee you get free refills. They have over 65 acers of land full of paintball Fields. Ive been there 4 times and because they have so many Field we never play the same Field twice. There prices are awsome and the people that own the place play paintball so they know what there doing not like some 15 year old a wal wart. There located in prince George and they play on Sunday 9:30-5:00 and private games on Saturday great place. And they have a paintball shop about 5 mins from the field

I have enough time to check out PBA and Splatbrothers, maybe. Then I'll be able to give some feedback and comaprisons to the field I usually go to, Skyline. (www.skylinepaintball.com) :)
