On an electro, the trigger only has to be long enough to hit the electronic switch (pretty damm short) usually around 1mm or less:crazy:. Get a blade trigger from e-paintballoutlet.com they will put the trigger on give you a trigger job for $30 plus shipping.

why is it recomended
The switch on a Impulse is a "lever switch" this is designed to give the trigger some give (so you don't bottom out the trigger switch)
When you set the trigger pull TOO short, as you use it, the "fire point" will tend to :move: a little. If you set your trigger the the very shortest movement, ther is an excellent chance that durring the game, you will get enounh "movement" to make the trigger NOT FIRE!
In addition, we have showen this MANY times to guys by having them shoot against a shot counter... The "shortest" trigger is very often NOT the fastest trigger.

In a week or so im going to get an Eclipse blade trigger for my gun. How short do you think would be the best for me to tell the people at the shop to make it. I want it short as i can get it.

exactly FOM. give it atleast 3mm-if not more. you don't want to accidently fire the gun onto your bunker and bounce back or sometimes get it so short that you can't fire it as fast. shorter trigger is not always as good. sure, the imp trigger has alot of travel, but don't go overboard on how short you get it with the blade.

well, i think the safest is about 1mm at least. mine is about 1.5 mm, and i can rip on it. its a stock trigger too! its a trigger job that i created with a teammate, and we are teaching it to the rest of the team. we are working on other impulses currently as well. if you are interested, here is the URL:

if ur interested email me at jc64730@aol.com or IM me at jc64730.
its $10 for the trigger job. plus more $ for shipping back. we will calculate that when we make a deal.

i have a stock trigger, and did my own trigger job too. didn't have to do any mods to the trigger or the frame itself. i used some spacers that i made to shorten the travel before and after the fire point. right now its about as short as a mouse click. ill tell you guys how to do it if you want me too, reall really easy and doesnt take very long.
