does anyone have the Tippmann Model 98 Pro-Team Venturi Bolt (new style) front bolt? i Have a few questions, i was at a paintball store website and it said that the (new style) bolt only fits gun serial numbers 83000 and up, my gun is like in the 17000's. Does anyone know where i can get the same kind of bolt so it'll fit my gun?Or does it even matter. Oh by the way i have the 98 custom.

I would really suggest against it. The venturi bolt on a powertube design (well, any venturi actually) is pointless. In fact, in most cases it actually restricts airflow.

You see, the design of the tippmann bolt venturi is little grooves in the bolt. And that doesn't do anything. It's not even close to the design of Spyder or Autococker bolts where the air goes through the bolt and not from a powertube.

If there was a venturi-styled powertube, that would be different. However, on a Model 98, it will do nothing. Save that money for a couple trips to KFC or something. Wal Mart paint. Or an issue of Penthouse. Something that would have at least some actual use.

yeah i think i'm just going to save my money and get something else, you have any suggestions on any upgrades? I already have a All American barrel.

You'd be better off with a double trigger upgrade. It makes the pull a lot lighter, and you'll be able to reach higher rates of fire easily at a very minimal cost.
