i was wondering if the angel air is worth the $500+ over a maxy. my maxy's on/off dosen't really work, and i want a 68ci anyway. the pro at my shop told me it would probaly be cheaper to get a new system considering maintenance fees, installation, and the cost of the tank..plus my bday is coming up ;). would you recommend an angel air on an imp, is it worth the money, and what's the performance on it compared to maxy? thanks fellas!

i PERSONALLY dont think it is worth it, i vote for the max flow over the a.i.r. as i have heard of alot of people having problems with their a.i.r.'s . . . i dunno . . .

Just buy a rebuild kit for your Max-flo, go to www.smartparts.com and follow the instructions. Also buy from a place that warranties Smart Parts equipment, you will save alot of money

I agree with Johnnyrotten, get a rebuild kit and fix what you have.

AIR's are great and all, but overkill for an Impulse. They also have maintenance issues.

VeNom - I have an original AIR and a new AIR. As long as the AIR has been updated with the free upgrade kit, it will work just fine. My old one needed it, the new one did not.

explain what you mean by the air being overkill on the impy..but, then if i do get a rebuild kit, where can i get just a 68ci tank to go on the maxy?

wait..an idea just crossed my mind that hasn't before. vertical maxy, and then purchase a demonic full flow or new designz HVF and screw in centerflag?

btw, which one would you chose- the demonic full flow or the hvf? i'm leaning toward the angled dff..
