Are you mechanically inclined? if not get an Impulse
Do you like to tinker? if not get an impulse
Do you want a marker to last all day? if yes, get an Impulse
Do you want up to 18 balls per second fire rate? if yes get an Impulse.
Dont get me wrong I like cockers, but an Imp is far more reliable and the accuracy thing is paint to barrel matching, yes low pressure and volume has a bit to do with it too, but a Impulse runs at 120 to 180 psi, thats low pressure too.
Hey you came in an Impulse forum and dont want personal opinions, I tried not to give one, but I bet Im the last not to.
GET AN IMP!!

I was considering an impy or an STO cocker ... I decided to go with the impy, a Bluegrass Rat Impy from our friends at www.e-paintball.com . My friends who have cockers said they were the best. and they are good markers. But I keep hearing too much about timing and you gotta buy this, that and the other upgrade to make them perfect.
On the other hand, the FOM's Rate impy comes with the upgrades, cool cut and carve, annodizing, freak barrel, etc ... for about the same as I woulda paid for the stock STO cocker.
I've only fired one impy, and I liked the feel, blah blah blah ... what it really came down to was money, best deal and such ... just the STO and a freak kit would cost about $800, add another couple hundred bucs for the new front block, reg and trigger job.
I think the choice is clear.

Cockers have a slight edge when it comes to range, but impulses deffinetly can outshoot a cocker and i think the pulses come a little more tournement ready out of the box than cockers. so get the impulse

The only way a cocker gets is the low pressure chamber it has, stay tuned for some upgrades on my Imp, Im getting the low down now from the All A's on how to set and do a LPR mod. I know how to do it, but I want the specifics behind it before I start tapping
