Hey, i was gonna get an a-5 but i got a question, is the only board for the a-5 (egrip) the w.a.s board or is there any other type of upgrade

There's the Tippmann, W.A.S., and Ape boards available. Obviously the Tippmann board is not as good and will be hard to get soon.

well, the tippmann a-5 egrip version has the w.a.s correct? and the ape, can't find that one, is it any good?

The Ape has more features than the W.A.S. and does well for people replacing the original Tippy boards. The W.A.S. is the standard board right now in all Tippmann e-grips and e-triggers as you said.

No, I highly recommend the e-grip--especially the new W.A.S. boarded models.
