View Full Version : Another X-Chamber Question

Ok...i have a Psycho Ballistics Dropforward on my 98 Custom. My brother just bought the ACI 6-Stage and it's REALLY nice but a bit long and barely fits his 98 Custom with a PB Dropforward. Other than the length i really like it and it seems to work good.

My question is what everyone recommends as the best overall x-chamber. I've been looking at the Tippmann x-chamber, the PB 8-stage, and the ACI 4 stage, and the ACI 6-stage. They all get above a 9 on their ratings. So I guess I'm asking....which is the best of the four? What would YALL recommend? I know they're all good and i especially like the ACI's. If I were to go with the ACI...would 4 be enough? Is 6 overkill and the 4 just as effective? I like the length a bit better since it isn't as long as the 6. Also, I know how cheap the PB 8-stage is so how does it compare to the ACI's? Thanks folks.

Ohh yeah...someone out there keeps saying that the Tippmann is a 4 stage....my bro has one besides his ACI and I took it apart and it looks as if it's a 2 stage. Correct me if i'm wrong. :|

 Of course they all work the same. They all help the liquid expand...BUT some work better than others and all are built differently. Anyone else have words of wisdom with a little more substance that actually helps?

you shouldnt bother getting a full x chamber, if you have a friend that has stock mini x chambers layin around just buy one of them for like 10$, they were just as good or better than those stupid full x chambers

4 or 8 stage, it doesn't matter, they will all perform basically the same, you will not notice any performance change between them

that is what i meant when i said they all work the same, there is no substantial performance change between a 4 or 8 stage xchamber
