What is a reflective site? Is it what the hot shot and sure shot are? Are they any good(site owners, only. I don't need this to turn into a site worth argument)? Thanks

i have a hotshot sight, and to anwser your question, yes they are good. a reflective sight projects a beam of light the sight lens .Then when you look at the lens you see the beam of light,or dot, on it. There are no cross hairs on these sights, just the beam of light. and the sight has to modes of the light. the is normal, and the is also very bright.I should not be nessacary to use the very bright on a normal day, becuase the normal mode provides enough light for you to be able to see the dot. Plus the battery life for these things is like 2 hrs. at the most. And using the very bright mode lowers it to 1hr.And yes the hot shot and sure shot are reflective sights. the dot does not go past the lens, once it hits it thats as far as it goes. it doesnt go through the air like a laser pointer. If you need any more help , just email me.

they are extremely good in the sense that unlike a laser the enemy cannot see where you are aiming in that respect....
