all american worth it?

i have an ion and im thinkin about gettin an all american 14 incher or 16 incher...is it worth it...or should i buy sumthin else...i wanna spend under 80 bucks and dont really wanna bother with kits unless i really have too. but what size is better ...and i really dint have time to search the stickies.

Sorry to say, but a barrel kit is the way to go. J&J and Evil kits are both around $80, so 2-piece barrels like the CP, and especially AA, are too expensive. Believe me, it isn't a "bother" by having a barrel kit. :tup:

Yes they might but this is a discussion forum with a discussion about the barrels, a quick question related to the discussion will not disturb the discussion as much as the *****ing.
After all, the question: "but what size is better ..." is in the stickies as well.

And last but not least, if Google returns a search result, it rarely points to the stickies. Instead the link will usually go to a thread like this one, with people asking questions over and over and over again.

empire 4 piece kit is the way to go, its a great kit at an unheard of price. get that and have money for another upgrade or 2.

do you play woodsball or speedball? you can get a full freak kit for $100 used or at lest were i live you can...you may want to look at used pipe kits they run $100 too, Also the empire 3-piece kit can be got real cheap but i haven't seen one sold in a few months so the resell price maybe diffrent.

if don't have alot of money get a jj ceramic or a progresive (imo the jj will last longer) I've never messed with all americans but i've heard that they are on the same level as the progressive just cost more and different porting

Anyhoo, AA, its worth it because when you upgrade to a new gun, just buy a freak back and voila. You have a freak. Just get inserts and your good to go.

get all american because you can later upgrade to freak back if nesassary. I got an allamerican and it shoots like a pro.
