I know zero about Evil guns, but I got offered a trade, the below Pimp for my Ion. Just trying to see if it is a good deal or not. In the mean time, I am researching Pimps so I have a better idea myself.

was baord and stock board
new eyes
new detents
35g triggerswitch
new intermal hosses
new wire harness
and new icd gripps

I'd say the Pimp was worth $325 to $350.

you could seel the pimp online right now for at least 400. you could get 200 for a used ion right now.

so yes it's a good trade.

#1 Ions suck *** no matter how many ups you put in them.

#2 Its an Ion (enough said).

#3 The pimp out performs the Ion in every way.

#4 Its an Ion oops already said that.

Seriuosly though it is an excellent trade, very much in your favor.

It also depends on if he has to add or not, and he has not told us yet.

Even if you have to add, do it. I would not add alot but I believe it is still worth it with you adding a little.

I wouldn't talk, considering the Pimp is the illegitimate (and overweight) offspring of an Impulse and a Timmy. :P

Good trade. Especially if you don't mind the extra couple ounces of the Pimp. But you may not like the stock Pimp trigger, I know I don't.

yes thats a very good trade, I have used upped ions and I have a very nice pimp and while I think the ion is the best backup gun ever made I feel that it just isn't up to par with the high end category no matter what all the people who own them say...a pimp feels, shoots and should be treated like a high end. It is fast, easy to maintain, has excellent customer service and like most high enders really needs no upgrades except a board only because most users prefer either WAS's user interface or the ghetto 7.0 user interface.

even if you are adding say....150 bucks its a good trade

pimps are good but i think that they are too heavy. But if your ion is pretty stock and you like the feel of the pimp, do it.
Evilballa have you ever shot an ion? My ion performs practically the same as my upped shocker. My ion is very light, has absolutely no kick, is just as fast as my shocker/victory boarded halo, and is consistant and efficient.

But there are some things about Ions that you can't change, such as an exposed solenoid. Just deal with the weight since the Pimp is such a good deal.

The Pimp is not that heavy at all. That is by far the best trade offer you will ever get for your Ion.
