I have a bunch of bunkers out at my homemade course at my farm but the problem is that they are made out of tires. Now since they are tires, they are hard to align with eachother and the end result is gaping holes everywhere. I was wondering if a rain tarp over each bunker would solve the problem? Or are rain tarps not strong enough to take a shot from a paintball gun?

i think raintarps might not be strong enough. the place we play has a cieling similiar to a raintarp, and our paintballs pierce holes in it.

make sure it is the thikest stuff you can find, I tested out some tarps just the other day and the ones with ply 10 mil seem to work fine, were going to try and make some bunkers with that and pvc pipe so we can move it into our barn when were not using them and take them other places easily as well.

fill the tire stacks with dirt or mud.
that is, if you're looking for it to be semi-permanent.

if theyr going over the tires i think it will work cuz the tire will stop the ball from punching a hole in it

why don't you just stack them on top of each other. this way they won't show any holes.

That'd be a lot of tires though.

Tarp is soild enough to take a shot. At a friends house we had a bunch of fencing so we covered the fencing with tarp and it was durable enough to take it.
