I have had my c98 for two months now, and it is as I bought it except for a 14" Linear barrel. I would like to know:
-what does an expansion chamber do?
-would the c98 be noticably better with HPA?
-what should I know about HPA?
-what is a low pressure kit?
-how do these parts work together?
I am extremely appreciative of all answers.

-what does an expansion chamber do?-Just gives the co2 time to expand, not really needed.
-would the c98 be noticably better with HPA? Yes
-what should I know about HPA? Idk, you need a high pressure tank.
-what is a low pressure kit? not needed
-how do these parts work together? What parts. If you get hpa that's all you need. Just fill 'er up and screw 'er on.

-what does an expansion chamber do?
As previously stated, an expansion chamber allows extra space for co2 to turn from a liquid to gaseous state before it enters your marker. An expansion chamber is not necessary if your switching to compressed air. Anti-siphoning your co2 tank would be cheaper than an expansion chamber though, and it does a better job.
-would the c98 be noticably better with HPA?
Yes. Very yes. Compressed air is easier on your marker’s internals and will not freeze up your gun like co2 does. You will also get better shot consistency.
-what should I know about HPA?
You will go through it like water, but is cheaper than co2 in the long run.
-what is a low pressure kit?
A low pressure kit allows your marker to run on a lower gas pressure as the name implies; it is not at all necessary with compressed air. Stock Tippmanns generally run on around 800 psi, where as a low pressure kit will let you run it on around 300 psi [or lower of you know how to tweak it]. You will get slightly better gas efficiency, and more consistent shots and less recoil. I have a low pressure kit in my 98. Am I satisfied with it? Yes. Do I think it was worth the $110? I do not think so…
-how do these parts work together?
That is a very general question. If you crack open your marker you can get a general idea on how the mechanics work.
I am extremely appreciative of all answers.

above answer pretty much sums it up...
i would suggest getting an expansion chamber if you're gonna be using co2.

Just a/s your co2. No ex chamber.
