Ive been looking at impulses for a while (probably gonna buy one) but i just noticed that there is nothing covering the end of the bolt on the back end of the gun. WOuldn't this mean more dirt getting in your impulse, and what would that do to it? Thanks:eyes:

It is hard for dirt to get into the back of your gun, but if it does the bolt is very easy to clean. You pull out the pin on the top of the gun and the bolt will slide out for you. After that all you have to do is clean it and re-grease it.

i was kinda worried about that too, but ive had no problems.

I think that it would be kool, if it was possible, to tap that hole where the bolt stuck out. then make some kind of cover that screwed on over the bolt. do you guys get what im trying to say.

FOM, if you read this, would it be possible for you to make some kind of mod like this?

Sure its possible, but that kinda defeats the whole quick strip deal.

Dont thrown your gun in the sand and you'll be just fine.
