I Vaporize a B2k4 w/ Laser eyes, 2006 board, blue LED, Main valve, bolt, o-rings, magnetic trigger, aftermarket LPR, etc...

The problem I see is: The Laser eyes are dim and I'm able to shoot without any balls in the chamber.

Nice little project, but I think I'm missing something.

Please advise

Low battery? Eyes blocked?

first change the battery, if that doesnt help then check and make sure the eyes are not bypassed on the Chaos board settings

Used a new battery, doublechecked the program, and still the same way.

I re-checked all the wiring and all is OK there.

What else can I check it against.

Sounds as if A) you're eyes might be wired wrong, B) something's not right on the board. Have you double checked that you have drop shot after timer enabled? Also, try a help desk ticket at paintballtrader. I know there have been a few bugs still getting worked out of the new boards, but Goldie has been making everything right as things progress.

also, is the gun gassed up when you shoot it with the eyes on and no paint? because if the gun has no air, the bolt will remain forward and block the eyes, allowing you to shoot. i know it seems like a stupid observation, just want to make sure thats not causing the problem.

yeah, some of the early 2006 chaos boards were bad, there was a component that was bad (not vapor's fault, was the fault of their supplier who sold them the components). anyway email vaporworks and see if this is the same problem as the one occuring in the defective boards to see whether or not you got a bad one.

I bought another board thinking that because of the "silicone" goober SNAFU was a defective board. The new one did the same thing!

I decided to flip the two yellow wires that are on the harness next to the black lead to the battery. I used a push pin to open the plastic clip that retains the pins. I used a schematic from another site which was a 12 pin configuration. Before flipping the wires, my Laser LEDs were dim, After swapping the two yellow wires, my LED are a bright red and the PDS WORKS!!!

Hoping this info can be of some use IF they have this problem.

Now I'M going to play with this one as my primary marker, and my Diablo Wrath as my 2nd, and my Tippy c-3 as my backed up back up.
