autococker velocity adjustment

Is there any way that you can adjust the velocity on a cocker without removing the cocking rod?
Is there an upgrade or something because it is such a pain?

What the 5 second to unscrew the rod is too much for you? lol
If so that is pretty sad. :D

But you can buy the ACI hammer kit that allows external adjustment.
