There have been probably close to a hundred or more threads on this subject...search in this forum, new paintballers, and low-end mechs...but an Imagine with an Eggy and new barrel...BTW, for an Ion to be running right and performing well, you'll need around $450. $100 for a Halo B and $150 for a good HPA Tank.

Go to actionvillage.com. Before you buy anything buy a good quality mask from your local paintball shop so you can fit it and find one that feels good for you. Then for the gun go to actionvillage.com. Buy a refurbished Spyder Imagine, a Viewloader Evolution II hopper, a 20oz. anti-siphoned CO2 tank from your paintball store so they can fit the anti-shiphon tube on the tank correctly for the Imagine, then buy a 14" barrel. Some good barrels are the Custom Products 1-piece barrel, the J&J Ceramic barrel, and the Smart Parts Progressive barrel. They all can be had for around $30-$50 and are good quality barrels that can provide you with good accuracy for your gun.
