i like to have a gun that can shoot the distance....defintetly, bc ive been getting out gunned and its not fun...another thing, i want my gun to be easy to maintain, ive read some of this stuff on the impulse and sounds a little complicated. i like to sneak up on ppl and shoot them when they dont see it comin or just pop out on them or snipe them...i want distance and reliability and acuraacy, the electronics dont matter to me....however ive seen the shocker be shot and i think that gun is too heavy and bulky, if the impy is like that forget it...i usually try to sneak around with one other perosn with me to flank people. could someone recoomend one of these guns...and yes ive considered the autocker but im not into all this maintaining and complicated stuff...i hear the mag and impy are easy and reliable...ofcourse id be using nitro...

if you want the distance without the bulk try shooting an intimidator.

well, u dont sound like a speedball but more of a woods player. either way, an electro will be awesome. id get an impulse, mags are simple and etc, but impulses are quieter, and IMO better. if u wanna trigger job on it, instant message me at jc64730 to talk about it or email me at jc64730@aol.com

No guns have any more distance than another, if both are shooting the same velocity. Get that through your heads people.

And I would buy an impulse, it can run on co2 way better than the mag, will be much more consistant(which makes it more accurate at longer ranges) and its easy to maintain.

If you play rec ball I would recommend a basic Impulse, a 20 oz anti syphon tank, and a 12volt revvy.

http://www.e-paintballoutlet.com has everything you need.

I had the same delema not to long ago and I went with the Impulse. If I had it to do over again I would have went with the Mag. I was under the impression that the Impulse would be simple to use, and it basically is. But, my buddy has a Mag and that thing is just sooooo simple and dependable. I've put a bunch of money into my Impulse and probably could have gotten a Mag with a really nice air system for the same price. The problem with the Impulse is that it just has a few more moving parts and the Mag is much much simpler.
Nothing against the Impulse, heck I own one. But too many people give you biased info, because if they addmitted that their gun wasn't the best they would be addmitting that they also chose the wrong gun. The Impulse is a close 2nd, but between the two guns I would choose the Mag.

What does his mag have your impulse doesnt? Sure, it may be a bit simpler, but really, whats the point?

And the impulse has what, one more moving part?

mags are purely mechanical guns, i do not see how you can be more intimidated by trying to clean an impulse. I believe that stripping and cleaning my imp is a lot easier than taking apart my spyder.
