What paintballs are recommended to be used with my new Tippmann A-5 with the Flatline barrel. I've tried using the RPS Allstar paintballs but find some shots burst as they exit the barrel due to the paintballs are quiet thin, is there anyone who is using the Flatline barrel with the A-5 and knows of paintballs which work best with the barrel?

Cheers Mathy.

I would run a search for more suggestions, but I do know that paintballs that are fairly thick-shelled, round, and of small-medium bore work very well. Examples include Marbs, Chronic, Tork, Scorch, Big Ball, etc.

Scorch are very good ", 3 inch groupings at 45 feet

Nelson Special Forces then Marbs . the smaller the paint the better and dry don't use oily shelled paint

Marbs, Monster Balls, Big Ball, maybe even some Diablo paint would work.

Diablo is good. Just avoid larger bore paint or thin shell

Marbs are godly for the flatty, kinda pricey though. If you are short on cash, like many of us are, go with scorch from walmart, or even more of a stretch, DBX from Dicks work..sometimes.

Scorch are the best walmart paint, are cheap, and work well in the flatline.

RPS Marb. and Allstar. Allstar has always worked great for me.
