I got my new imp from FOM, and when i got it and was putting my drop on i noticed my max flo wasnt screwed in all the way. And if i screw it in all the way the air fitting is in the most retarded place. Im wandering if FOM never fully screwed it in on purpose or what????

He did it that way on purpose. the reg will work fine where he put it. Its probably in that posisiton so that the air fitting ISN'T in a retarded place.
The Maxflo has a Jam nut so you can adjust where the gas ports face-- You may not know that One ASA adapter will thread to a different spot then another. By Using the Jam not to keep the reg from going all the way in, you can set the gas line so it is the least in the way.

I got my Cave Rat Thursday. How do you adjust the Jam nut? I am mechanically impaired man!
