Hi,

I just bought a brand new Pro-Team F/X Sleeper Autococker. For some reason, I keep chopping balls. I'm sure that I'm not short stroking. I also know that the bolt goes all the way back, and there's anough room for the ball to enter the breach. I usually chop balls after about every 10 shots or so. I'm using PMI Premiums, which I had stored in my basement for a few months (it's about room temperature, and shooting a Dye Boomstick. When I shot the balls I didn't see any dimples or any sign that they could be the cause. Any possible answers to this dilema? Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks!

Try a smaller bore ball (FRESHER BALLS) because after sitting down there for months in addition to possibly being too big they could be weak or god knows what after a "Few months"

I shoot Marbalizers through my Boomy with no problems. You could also check your timing and velocity, my best guess is simply your paint barrel match.

I think that the boomstick is a small bore barrel. I know that the PMI Premiums are good for medium bore barrels. Id check that.

make sure that your bore to paint size are right and I would say get some new balls and make sure you are not shooting to fast that the balls cant feed down in to the gun and be sure not to short stroke

If you make your gun Low Pressure that will stop ball chopping a little and also increase efficiency.
