View Full Version : Anyone try the new LAPCO barrels yet?

It's only 50$ and got a 9.4 or 9.5 out of like 120 reviews so everybody must like it. Anybody know anyone who has it? How is it?

If you are referring to the Bigshot, then it is not a new barrel, just new with imp threads.
I have one on my tippmann and absolutely love it. Straight as a bullet, and reasonably priced at $50. Only beef i have with it, is that with minimal porting, this sucka is pretty loud.

I have yet to try one on my imp yet, though.

We have had them since they came out for the Impulse. Like all Lapcos- they shoot great.

In our testing, they are about equlat to a freak with a single insert. Of course the Freak has the additional features for additionsl money.

Of the after market barrels we have, the Lapco is better then the Dye, Better then the CP, about equal to the Dye Ultra light and the AA.

Lapcos are sweet. And the low porting allows you to shoot through breaks easier and it helps with your effciency some.

If you want a good cheap barrel, get a lapco.

i had a bigshot on my spyder. they are very high quality, especially for the price. I also sugest you buy from http://www.paintballbarrels.com/ they dont charge shipping, but there stock is sometimes low.

Any idea if you are going to be getting them in in stainless steel for the imp any time soon? or if lapco even makes em?

Yeh lapco makes stainless steel barrels. They are called the S.S. bigshot and i think the S.S. autospirit.

Bigshot= large bore
Autospirit=small-medium bore

I think that is right.

You can buy them or atleast see wut they look like at www.g3pb.com. That is page is all upgrades, and no guns. They have apparel and masks and stuff too.

:D You are correct, the Big Shot is medium bore, .689 bore to be exact!
