Woo.. quick easy question.. pff I wish..

Alright, after slaving over my gun the whole summer getting ends
together and my new e-trigger, I have a question...

Sometimes, when I pull the trigger, the sear doesn't activate the bolt
and it misfires. It's not a big problem, but I don't want my gun to not
fire next time i go for that perfect snapshot...

Any Ideas?

This is a Custom Pro, right? Is the gun in a cocked position and just not firing, right?

-Make sure the battery is fresh.
-Is the stock sear spring installed?

Start with that I guess. . .

Also you might want to bump up the Dwell time on the board a little bit.

Alright,

It is a 98c pro and now it's not firing AT ALL when i cock it..

I really have to mess around with the bolt for the bolt moves...

The 98c e-trigger comes with the A-5 sear... and I don't think my sear has worn down,
I got my gun in march and have gone maybe 2-3 times tops, with the occasional dry firing and whatnot..

I doubt it would be a dead battery, although it could be, I'll do that in a second, and how
high should I set the dwell? 5-6?

Bah.. I'm tired of this. I enjoyed using this gun, but it's a
pain in the harness for me.
I had so many problems, and although I had a great
time figuring out what was wrong, I'm tired of it.
Maybe I'm an idiot. Lol.
I remember when I took my gun with me e-trigger to a
store. the lady accidently broke some wires and didn't

even do anything to fix em, she just said to try n solder em.....

I knew i should've done this a LONG time ago,and I
spent... maybe $320+? on this gun, But I'd rather just get a new gun...

I made up my mind, and I knew my mom (my mom, lol)
will be super angry about me wanting a diff. gun and everything,
but it's depressing messing with this 98.. I wanted to go Paintballin
all this month, and couldn't get off work to go. And this weekend I
finally get a day off, and my gun Fricks up....

I'm willing to sell my gun... if anyone is willing to take it off
my hands, but it isn't worth much

Smart Parts All American Barrel
A Fruited up E-trigger

Actually I think that's all I have on it...

I want an Ion, It's cheap, and two of my friends have
em locally, so if I have any problems, I can ask em.
I play speedball, so it's better suited anyhow.. Just don't
know how 2 tell my mom.:(

If you can't fix this gun, then an Ion won't be easier to take care of.

Is the sear and hammer clear of excessive wear?

you could always take the e-grip out...that would be a lot less expensive then buying a whole new gun

Get the Ape Rampage. I hear alot of people have problems with the was board. And the first thing to always check is the battery.

Ion... only if you want to up the hell out of it... go Wrath LTD if you just want to spend under 340$ on the gun itself. Wrath LTD = 234$ of AV and a ****** board costs about 100$. It will shoot ropes stock and is a massively overlooked gun in todays market.

Yea, i took the thing out altogether and now i have my stock tippy, and i am happy. I'll probly keep it stock and keep it, but around x-mas im hoping to get an electro.

So, I'm going to start looking into electro's.

Cpt. Morgan is right bout the Wraths. I've tried them out at fields stock, and they rip. You can find them for pretty cheap too

try playing between you stock grip and the e-grip once in a while...it really saves the frustration for me.

i really think trying to go electronic on a 98 is a bad idea. my friend tried that and it basically died on him. i would/ just did upgrade to a cheap spyder.
