I guess runs along the tape.?
I know of tape runners, They go get a good postion, get the flag, etc. They move around to create alot of havoc for the other team. Correct me if Im wrong.

I thought tape runners were like wings. I thought they used the very edge of the course and went the long way in.

I guess they are right, I see them in every game at a public field. They run along the extreme perimeters and get as far foward as they can to provide covering fire to the side players, who in turn can keep an eye on the flagrunner. Thats just what Ive seen. Where I play there is no tape...:paranoid: :paranoid:

they rush they left or right tape on the break and try to move up on it and get good posistion along the tape (sidelines, very edge) i like to play on the tape as you dont have to worry about being shot from the side that the tape is, just along the tape and across the field (diagnol/across).

It is an OCIW, supposedly it is going to replace the M4/M16A2 rifles that the military uses.

It is very technologically advanced. It has a computer controlled grenade launcher that automatically times the explosion to the target distance. The scope can be connected to video goggles, so the user can fire the weapon remote, or blind shoot. It has NV, super speed 5.56mm ammo, can identify friendlies and supposedly is supposed to be great.

It's downfall is that it is too reliant on technology. It has a long way to go before being as reliable and maintenance free as the current AR15 style rifle.

They are very controversial amongst military circles and gun enthusiasts. Most seem to think that it is a solution in search of a problem.

MAy not be as extincive as you want, but Tapers can provide suppressive fire...and I mean lots can be a HUGE succes. if you can get at least 2 tapers, and do that you can keep opponents at bay and let others get good positions and take them out one by one. On the other hand, if they have a out ranging, or very accurate, barrel, they can pick off people who are hard to get or got wonder or critical posistions.

Tape runners are generally the guys who get the eliminations and make the moves the destroy the opposing team. Think of it this way, those full field bunkers, or moves that shoot out 3 guys rarely happen at the center of the field, it's usually the tape. And it's usually the tape guys that get to do that.

yea, its all about gettin the angles ;)
i ususally run to the 30-50 on the break on either side (never go center) and you get awsome angles on pple espically if they dont see you....

I used a crappy one once, put it inside an old mask, put it in a spot that seems like decent hiding place (for a new/crappy player) had it play eye of the tiger (one hour of it, bought hootie and the blow fish, suprisingly cheaper than blank tapes) and then perched my self in a large bush and camoflauged myself in some branches (wore clothing to match, VERY leafy place) and then shot people that came to investigate the ironic choice of song with the helmet and faulty barrel poking out about an inch under a pile of conspicious leaves and sticks. It worked on two people, they told everyone to ignore the "eye of the tiger" song and they all were laughing and telling me they won't fall for it, don't waste your time, so actually hid in the leaves witht he tape player waiting for some one to come, they did, and I figure what the hell, and they didn't relize until someone threw a branch and herd me grunt. (kills via obvious trickery-7 (pathetic I say))
