i've played paintball about 4 times and im thinging about geting a marker. Reliability is a major factor and i need to decide between a spyder imagine, a spyder sonix 2006 a 32 degree Icon x or a game face vexor

Buy a tippmann and never again worry about reliability problems again. Or like everone else said get the spyder imagine.

I have had no problems with reliability on my old spyder. A Tippmann is by far the most durable gun you can buy, but the 98 custom can be severely outperformed by spyders with the right ups. I would reccommend an Imagine, then later on put a T-board in it, and get a cheap regulator and a low-pressure kit.

Spyder Imagine will keep up with a lot of guns on the speedball field, and a few upgrades and it can be almost as good as an ion. My imagine still works and i've had it for about 4 years. It's what i was using when i was recruited onto my first team.

Tippmann 98 custom for a rec/scenario/woods ball player where the gun might be in the mud and dirt or if you want to be able to throw it in the back of your truck and forget about it. My tippmann 98 custom was left pressurized for nearly a year and still works perfectly fine. Oiled it and cleaned it once in the time i've had it.

Spyders are as simple as tippmanns and are equally reliable if you take care of them. I'd personally get the spyder, cheaper and a wider variety of customization.

Either 1 is good, though spyder can be used, if moded right, for speedball, tippies just suck at speedball

Do not get a Game Face Vexor whatever you do. If you want reliability then back away from that gun. My friend had one and it broke down the second time he played with it. I would recommend a tippy or an imagine. In my oppinon the 98 custom is more reliable but not as cheap. But if you can spare about 150$ get the 98 custom.

find out if your local field allows the use of responce triggers. if they do then i woudl say get a 98 custom with responce. if they dont or you are looking at playing in tournaments. then go with the imagine. by a tippmann is the most reliable gun around. yeah so is a spyder. but if you are also wanting to play some woodsball get a tippmann. i have personally dunked my in water by accident, do that with an imagine.

Imagines are cheap, and for a good reason. They're probably one of the most unreliable guns out there. If you want reliability, get a tippy.

I would recomend a used spyder imagine...you can find them for like 50 dollars on ebay. But if you can save up some money get a spyder pilot ACS those are great guns for speedball

This one hasn't been said. My friend has been 20 or more times and he uses a Spyder MR1 for both woods and spped. Faster than Tippy, accurate, good begginer gun, buy it.
