Empire Revolver or Freak Kit

Hi, I shoot an Ion and I was just wondering which barrel I should get. I have narrowed it down to the revolver or the Freak kit. Any suggestions.

Just go with whatever is cheaper. The difference between them is slight, so price probably is the biggest issue.

i have a revolver for my ion and love it. havn't used a freak so i can't say but my revolver is ball on ball with a good paint match.

I have a Freak, and its freakin awesome, but I have not used the empire so I dont know about it.

The Empire kit is the same thing as the Powerlyte Scepter kit with the Empire name on it. They both use the same exact material in their inserts but the Empire's insterts are about an inch longer giving it a slight advantage.

The inserts for empire are made soo much better. Its made so that the sleeves would lock into the barrel back. It does not move around at all. I have the empre kit and redz kit, they both work amazingly well with my cocker.

i'm pretty sure the only difference in the kits is the porting on the tip and the milling, but if you've used both and found otherwise, that's a different story.

edit: scepter would be my suggestion, as well.

True theyre almost the same so just get what is cheaper


HOWEVER, if you have some money laying around, wait till october and get the new 07 Powerlyte Scepter kit (FYI, if you didnt know, Powerlyte designed the Scepter then sold the design to empire as the Revolver[new name, same product])

I have a freak with one insert and i have the revolver with 5 inserts. And i like how the revolver was made compared to the freak. the the inserts are easyer to handle with the revolver. How ever i am disapointed on the preformance on the revolver and freak kits. they both shot well, but not good enough for me. I'm going to look into the hammer heads now and see if they are any good.

both suck (i want a barrel that shoots a 2" circle at 100 feet both of these shot over 5")
