So ive had that outrageously big and useless old Dye-grip asa on my bm2k ever since i got it. So far ive only found ONE site that sells the lapco one. any sites that you people know of that have what im looking for would be greatly appreciated since my local shops dont carry any old stuff like that.

also,
i just took my detent off to clean it and noticed that the tip was chopped off and wedged in there. it was a rubber thing that sticks out. pbreveiw doesnt list any bushmaster threaded detents

so are they just a general item or am i screwed?

thanks alot for any information.

nobody makes them anymore, you have to get one used (unless you find a website that still has some in stock from ages ago). best bet is the BST forum on www.icd-owners.com I believe I saw a thread yesterday where someone is selling a silver macdev ASA. and I'm sure you can pick up stock ASA's there too, many ppl are parting their bushies out. havent seen any lapco ones recently but keep your eyes peeled.

older b2k's like yours use cocker detents. so any cocker detent will work. just avoid metal ones, obviously, they scratch your delrin bolt. teflon detents work best.
