what does everyone think I should do? well here's my problem, I started a team basiclly so my friends could be on a team and play paintball with me. But I was on a before I started this one which had two sponsors that paid for everything ( tourney entry fee, paint, jerseys exc. ) and I has offered to get back on that team and bring one of my players with me to that team ( my second best player on my team next to me ). so I can get on a team and have everything paid for and that goes to larger tourneys ( like cts ) and disappoint my team, or I could be on the team I started that were I would have to pay for everything and not advance myself in the great sport of paintball.
what do you think I should do?

I think the answer is quite obvious. Get with the sponsors. Play with the other guys whenever you can. Theyll understand. If they dont, they suck

That's why making a team w/ your friends is a bad choice. You probably should've thought of that earlier...
Enough of the past. Don't tell your friends that they suck, tell them that you got invited to play on a sponsored team. They should understand, true friends will get over it eventually. Paintball drama=dumb.

Ditch sponsorship and play hillbilly bob's woodsball for the rest of your existence.
:dodgy:
Its not that hard of a choice. It depends what your looking for. If you want to stay with your friends and possibly lose a great opportunity go for it. If you want to snatch up the opportunity and possibly lose your friends, go for it.

psshht!! thats an easy one, money! Dont ever let anyone hold you back from what you want to do. take the sponsered team becaue in 5 years when the sponcered team is flying around the USA and youe still playing on some "team," youll regret never taking that oportunity.

Well it may be your only shot for a sponsor. If your friends are complaing then get new friends. Hell my friend got sponsored by a team and left our team and I don't blame him. I would've too.

Say "I'm going to join another team because there is a better probability of me advancing in the paintball world" You can add some stuff to the end there to sweeten it up.
Then don't tell anyone about picking someone else, just tell your new team (the sponsored one) and have them contact the 2nd best guy. That way you don't have to put up with hateful friends because they think 2nd best guy just got invited for whatever reason.
