how much does an x-board really help?

If your not out shooting your hopper with the regular board it's not really worth it. If you are having trouble with your loader keeping up then it might be something to look into. I couldn't really tell much of a difference in actual performance.

Basically it gets rid of the gaps that were placed there when the board was "fixed" so it would not respond to sunlight. Depending on the marker you have this can be a chopped ball waiting to happen. My hopper on any electro marker would cause the the seventh ball in a stream to be pinched/chopped...etc. So its really up to you if you want it. And heh, they are only ten or 15 bucks anyways.
