I was wondering if there was such thing as a barrel adapter for a spyder body to 98 or a-5? I want to use a flatline barrel on my imagine!
Possible?

They do make them I believe, but it's not practical.

In all likely hood, lapco makes one.
But for reference, the flatline is quite inferior to the BT Apex. The Apex wins on every concievable level.

spyder to 98C (http://www.actionvillage.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/DisplayProductInformation-Start;sid=hDiwc1N93z2wPBZgEcZw21mpTXLwR2ehH5k=?Pro ductID=HXGsFAY7yLkAAAD3Cu2lA_2s)
spyder to A-5 (http://www.actionvillage.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/DisplayProductInformation-Start;sid=hDiwc1N93z2wPBZgEcZw21mpTXLwR2ehH5k=?Pro ductID=wZSsFAY7L2IAAAD3buylA_2s)
both found on actionvillage, however i dont think the flatline will work something about the threads, i heard it on pbn in a thread like this one.

Tippman barrels wont work on spyders, the LPC gets in the way since the barrel is so thick.
They don't make 98/c to spyder adapters and they most certainly don't make body thread adapters.
I do remember something a while back about someone rigging a spyder with a flatline but it had to be specially modified to mount correctly.

Niether the A-5 flatline nor the 98c flatline mount to the marker in a conventional way. If you have to have a flatline type barrel go for the apex but in all honesty none of the above are that great. You would be far better get a nice barrel kit. I would much rather have dead on accuracy then 10 extra feet of range (when you know the only way you get a break at that range would be a mask, marker, or pod and two of those three will usually be wiped or not felt/seen). So with the extra range the flatline type barrel gives you have about a 1 in 100 chance of actually getting a confirmed elimination.

Get a barrel kit if your gonna spend that much because flatlines dont really help.
