Im looking to buy a barrel and I have a pretty good idea of what kind im going to buy (Custom Products) but im not sure what size. I play woodsball mostly and usually im somewhere around the front or middle....never really a back player or sniper.... so I was thinking along the lines of 12" or 14"....Any suggestions?

12" your best bet. Since you will be playing closer up front where snap shots and tight positioning is essential, a smaller barrel is necessary.
However it's still woodsball so you don't need the extremly small sized barrels as suggested on sup'air type fields.

The only benefit from a longer barrel is maybe a little quieter depending on the porting, and it's good for people who take aim. Because the longer the barrel, the better sighting down the barrel will be.
But most of us shoot, and then aim from where the first paintball went. So that longer barrel isn't really needed.

Most people say 12" is the perfect barrel length.
