I plan on purchasing the Promaster soon, and I need to buy an ASA and macroline/microline
1. What is the difference between a microline and a macroline?
2. Why is it that some are sold for $30, and some are $10? Is there actually a large difference if they both appear to be high pressure and 1 foot long, with an elbow and straight part?
3. Is this a good ASA? (CDN dollars)

1. Macroline is the thick line that runs from the ASA to the reg. Microline is the small tubes that are used on autococker 3-ways and inside the ion. You will need macroline for use on that ASA.
2. Microline will be cheaper than macroline. Also, macroline kits will come with the air fittings needed so that will be more expensive than just the macroline itself.
3. Yes, it's a good ASA. I'm not sure about conversion rates but that price seems a little high.

Thanks a lot. I suppose I just need to buy a macroline kit and ASA then?
I agree with the ASA being expensive. However, it does have on/off and mounts directly to the gun. I would rather have an on/off control, and buying a cheaper ASA with a rail would probably be even more expensive. That's from my local shop, but maybe i can find something online that is a bit cheaper, although I've never ordered anything online before.

if you already have the elbows and such, you can get just the macroline hose at http://www.punisherspb.com/macroline-1ft-black.aspx. its only 5 bucks, or about 5.50 cnd.

thats a link to all the stuff they have that you would need to connect from the ASA to a regulator or whatever you have on the frame of your gun.

CP on/offs are pretty expensive so thats about the average proshop price. I don't reccomend it as a matter of fact, because for that much you can get a push button on off, which is also a direct mount to the bottom of the gun and its easier to turn on and off. Hybrid makes a good push button on/off

Are these better?
(note: I am looking for an ASA with on/off that will mount directly to a Promaster. please tell me if these are not)

I am glad I don't have your proshops in my area because the new CP on/off's are about $30 around here.
Opps, sorry, just noticed it was the sirect mount. Now those ARE around $50 here. The dovetail mounted ones are $30.

1.I think I will get this one. Does it mount directly to the gun?
2.Will I need an ASA adaptor to connect to the marker or a Centerflag 47/3000 steel tank?
3. If I do not need an ASA adaptor- all I need is a straight fitting, an elbow, and macroline hose?

1 and 3 look good to me  I reccomend you get some loctite as well. After you screw in the elbows put some lock-tite around them and they won't leak.
