In the trading forums, I think sellers should be required to state an asking price like on PBnation. It gets tiresome when sellers demand offers on their items for sale and force buyers to bid with each other. I also would like descriptive titles to be required. First of all, FS, FT, WTB are all good abbreviations to start the title with. If there were an icon next to the thread like on Paintballcity, that would be nice too, although it seems that users disregard it over there. The sellers should also be required to state what they are selling. A title like: "Revys, 'Cocker parts, Mag parts, regulators" is just great because I can look at it and know what the guy has for sale. However, I get sick of the titles like: "Lots of stuff F/S!!!!!!!" especially when I go to the thread and see 4 different items. An update on the Trading Forum Rules to incorporate these would be a great improvement. Then, if moderators would just delete the offending posts, it would save a lot of time. I would volunteer to do some deleting, but I have been very pleased with the moderators deleting or moving offending posts that I report so far. Keep up the good work
Now on to my general suggestions. I cannot stand it when people type messages like, "I don't like u or ur gun cuz u r dumb." It is time for such people to either learn some grammar or just stop typing using idiotic abbreviations like that. Currently, it seems that "ur" means "your," "you're," "you are," and occasionally "you" depending on how big of a moron the person is. It is not like it saves a whole lot of time, even for the hunt-and-peck typist, so there is not reason to use them. Perhaps another addition to the Forum Rules could be made and offending posts might be deleted, or at least the abbreviations themselves. Perhaps add "ur" "u" "r" and "cuz" to the swearing filters so that they are replaced with asterisks, thus forcing the user to either type the appropriate word or something like "u*r?" I rarely find that such people say anything worthwhile anyway, so deleting their posts would just cleanse the entire forum. Any takers?
