ok heres the story.

i got my 1st gun (spyder pilot acs red fade) and went paintballing with it. this was after my 2nd round or so, the game expired so i put on the barrel condom and went out, though i forgot to turn off the frame. also, i got overexcited with the idea of adjustable triggers and tightened my trigger so there was about 2 mm of trigger travel total. so i came out into the lobby, set my gun on the table, and got a drink. (don't worry, im getting to the point.) then when it was time to go in again, the ref came up and we started talking. anxious to go in again, i picked up my gun, and my finger slipped onto the trigger. somehow, i fired off 2 shots in the direction of the ref's face. quite luckily, the balls broke in the condom i was wearing. it was a very close call, and i won't ever even contemplate not wearing it.

Those things you stick IN your barrel suck. Get shot out after one time. If you'de have had one of those in there the ref might have gotten shot. My friend shot me with one of those in the exact same spot I got shot from almost point blank one time. :(

The barrel condom is only a bad thing when you forget to take it off the gun before the start of the game then off the break you raise the gun to shoot and fire 3 shots into it before you realize it is still on.

Barrel bags/condoms are simply the most important part of this sport. I work at a field, and I've been exposed to more than enough stupidity involving barrel condoms. I've nearly been shot in the face by a coworker, the moron was cleaning a gun when I was filling an air tank, and he shot it (accidentally, I'm sure) and it hit about 4 inchs away from my face on the wall beside me. Much to my surprise he was fired shortly after.

But "On Topic", I always use proper protection. Ask my girlfriend, it's true. Condom's always on ;)

well if were on the bases of that it was funny we had a little 14 year old kid playing and we were talking about whos barrel condom was better looking and the only words he heard was we uses "condoms" and so he walked over to us opened his wallet and said yeah guys protection is great and pulled out a trogan :eek:. The funnest thing that ever happen at the field.
