I just bought a Wgp Prostock 05' from my local shop. They told me it was amazing. Now im realizing its more for scenario than speedball. I play front/mid for speedball. I definitley need a faster gun and I could buy a e2 but thats like 300$. I shot my friends stock ion and that shot really nice. It had pretty good accuracy and pretty fast speed right out of the box. Should I just buy a Ion or Ion pro and put money into that like a qev and a board? I could either sell the prostock or keep it for a backup.

Yeah, just get an Ion (not pro) and upgrade it as you want. I guarantee you'll enjoy it more than the cocker.

I ran with a mech cocker in tourneys for a year before i got an electro, and I was playing snake. Last time i went ballin, at the end of the day when I didn't have much paint left, i grabbed my mech cocker and just played hopper ball and went to the snake off the break. I took out 2 guys before being taken out myself.
You do not NEED a fast gun to compete. Look at guys that run with pumps. My suggestion to you would be to get used to playing witht he mech cocker in your position. Then, sometime down the road jump to an electro frame or a new gun.
I think doing that has benefited me as a player because when i first started i wasn't relying on ROF as much as working on my snap shooting skills and learning to read the streams of paint.

^ Good points. But if you feel like you could benefit and play better w/ an electro then i would go ahead and like an ion or a fusion.

GET A STOCK ION AND SELL THE COCKER! :pissed:
get a stock ion and just up it as you want like cpncrunch said. truthfully I think all cockers are ment for woodsball and scenarios except for eblades and karnivores.
