Few questions on Performance differences in models...

1. Basically just wondering this, stock overall which is better Tippman 98C or the A5.. **Performance Wise**
2. If I were to supe the **** outa both of them which would end up having better *performance* overall.

now when i say performance i mean nothing to do with it looking cool i am talking accuracy, consistancy, speed, etc.... these are the things i will look for when i am upping my gun only, i do not care for appearance.. thanks

they both are the same....in performance....

but the difference are in the cosmetic and accessories

i basically comes down to if you want a normal hopper or the cyclone. Thats about it stock.


Upped, i think they are about the same performance wise, but you can get more cosmetic things for an A-5

The 98 and A-5 will perform the same with identical setups. The only difference will be in the cosmetic features between the two.

Yes, the bodies of both will differ. ALSO, if u supe the **** outta them, for ur price paid, the custom pro will prob. be better for the bucks u laid out, but of course they will work just the same overall.

Yeah like I said before in a different thread, I would get a custom pro because it is the best of both worlds.

yep. Better LPK, cheaper to upgrade to Electro, can get cyclone and egrip for same price as getting electro for a-5, and it's a bit smaller.

by custom pro you mean 98 custom or is that a diff package, looks like it comes with the electric firing modes?

The Custom Pro is an upgraded model based on the 98c. It comes with a better barrel, drop forward, and double trigger.

You can buy e-triggers for all three Tippman models.

yep. The Spy is right, but also the engraving on the side of the gun is diff. But if u get the 98 custom, get a drop if u can quickly. The ASA place it's stuck on sucks.
