One of my A-5s has a WAS board. This gun has performed perfectly for as long as I have had it. Until recently.

Currently I have the gun set on NXL which is three single shots, then goes to fullauto. My gun has been on NXL mode since day one and nothing has changed.

Problem is, lately, when I fire my gun it keeps firing even after I let off the trigger. It remains firing for about a second or so. This has happened about five or six times recently.

Any ideas? Again, the NXL setup has not been changed whatsoever. I also tried a new battery and the same thing happened....

Worn sear/hammer? Or possibly a board flaw. But most likely worn internal parts.

How can I filter through the above possiblities and start determining what the problem is? I really haven't ever worked on this gun before so I am not that familar with it.
