balls rolling out the barrel

When you cock a Talon and the ball loads, why does it roll out of the end of the barrel if you point it downward? Is there any way to stop that?

Buy paint with a bigger bore size or check the ball detents (If Talon's have them, I cannot remember).

Buy some ball detents or if your using your own paint get a bigger bore size. The standard paint size is .68 or somthing like that. Most likely the cheaper the paint the smaller the bore size. Your gun keeps balls from falling out using these things called ball detents. They hold the ball in place and if the ball is too small it will roll out. I dont know if BE sells detents for your gun better off doing a little research or asking if they do in a different post.

the Talon is a PUMP ... IIRC it doesn't have a ball detent, most pumps (if not all) don't.
I've heard of a small drop of nail polish being used, as well as adding a detent in the body/barrel to prevent this.

the talon doesnt have a detent, a detent prevents the ball from rolling out...

dont bother buying one for it, i doubt any of them would fit, nor would u want to spend a $20 upgrade on a $20 gun

How long havve youve been playing? Im just curious because if your new then jsut stick with your brass eagle for now but if youve been playing for awhile I think nows a good time to look at other guns cause BE doesnt exactly make the best stuff.

I've been playing a few months. I do have another marker. I just have the Talon for messing around with every now and then - I've never actually played a game with it. I'd love to play an all pump game though sometime, or maybe an all-Talon/Blade game where everybody uses one.

it's either the detent or my friend said that his old jt had a similar problem but the bolt was upside down

Well your first mistake is that u bought a Brass Eagle. Ha Ha im just kidding i say go with the new ball detent but im not sure if they make them for brass eagles

Get a larger paint bore size, and don't point your gun downwards. Its as simple as that.
