i am getting a jt 4.0 soon and would like to know if the stock barrel is small, medium, or large bore...also which paintballs seem to work the best?

I hear that the Diablo Blazes work well with the JT Stock barrel. I recommend you stay away from RP Big Ball as I have bad experieces with it. Last time i played every 15 shots the balls broke. And a ball broke in my hopper three times. Very bad experience with them. I'm going to try some Diablo blazes soon.
pmi premiums work well in mine.

im more of a recreational player than anything remotely serious, so what about paintballs that wont break the bank?
diablo blaze are gonna be over 50 at least...not too sure about pmi's
i would rather not spend more than 30 for 1000 balls, so any suggestions?

XENUBE... a case is a better deal. there are several online sites that have deals on paintballs. you would pay like $10-$15 more for 1000 more paintballs.
surf the web and see what you can find...
www.acepaintball.com and www.actionvillage.com have pretty decent prices

ok well i've found some blaze and pmi for around 45 for 2000, a good price indeed
anybody have experience with jt paintballs (you'd think they might work best with jt guns)

ive used midnights which were prtty small in the barrel, and they worked great. no breaks out of 600, and theyre only 50bucks a case at cousins.

Thursday how do the midnights compare to Blaze on accuracy?

i have the 2-piece. it improves your accuracy over a longer distance. it does not however make every ball go straight. every gun/barrel/ball set up will have a range that the ball groupings are tight. it's the same with this barrel. i personally like the range and accuracy because i don't sit back and dump paint. i move, play the tapes, bunker players, and maximize the shots that i take. so it works really well for me with short to medium range shots that i like to take. you are still able to make longer range shots. it may take a little more paint and you might have to walk the paint to your target. what really matters is if the barrel matches your style of play.

midnights are smaller bore than blaze, so accuracy depends on which barrel you're using

Diablo HellFire: Very small .682 - .685
Diablo Inferno: Small .686 - .688
